The theme for the month of June and Word charge for the last Sunday in the month of May is ‘Taking New Grounds!’ Scriptural text: Isaiah 54:2-5, Genesis 13:14.
Isaiah 54:2-5: “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited. “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.” God is particular about the month of June! We will rely on Isaiah 54:2-5 because it solidifies that the month of June is indeed our month to take new grounds! The Lord wants for us to be bold in our movements this month to discover undiscovered lands, to claim and mark our own territory! We should do so with confidence that the Lord is supporting us in every step as He Himself guides us through the month. This month and always, we can count on Him!
Genesis 13:14-17: ‘And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.” The blessings that God has in store for you cannot be numbered by the numbers of men! This month of June, the Lord wants to bless you but there are three pivotal keys that must be engaged to unlock, activate, find and claim the new grounds!
Month of June’s 3 Pivotal Keys:
1. FAITH (Hebrews 11:1-10)
2. OBEDIENCE (1 Samuel 30:8, Hebrews 11:8) Complete submission to divine instruction without self-obstruction
3. PRAISE (Joshua 6:1-2)
This month of June, by your FAITH, OBEDIENCE AND PRAISE, you will break forth on the right and break forth on the left in the name of Jesus! Every day of June will come with miracles and breakthrough in the name of Jesus!
