The month of May has been declared our month of Grace and Favour, and so Prophet John Enumah has been teaching at great length on this topic so that we understand the power that is 'Grace'
Last week Prophet spoke about Grace and Favour as it relates to all of us. This Sunday he focused on the Grace upon a man of God.
Prophets teaching reminded me of the old English idiom 'Don't judge a book by its cover ' and I'll explain why I say so as we go along.
Ephesians 4:11-12 'And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;'
Prophet explained that each of these ministries come with their own capacities of Grace.
He further went on to explain that prophets should not be seen as diviners, however, they are divine. The palm reader may be able to see your destiny but they can't do anything to change it. Whereas the prophet can see your destiny and can change it with a word.
So what role does Grace play in all this? This question brings us to the powers and dangers of Grace.
When you honour the Grace that is upon the life of the man of God, it does 3 things:
1. It triggers a reward - Matthew 10:40
2. It triggers deliverance - Hosea 12:13
3. It triggers multiplication and increase - Mark 6:36-37
Coming back to the statement of not judging a book by its cover, this is a metaphorical phrase which means "you shouldn't prejudge the worth or value of something by its outward appearance alone".
A lot of people do not honour their men of God, pastors, prophets, church leaders etc. They take the Grace of God on the lives of these men of God for granted. They judge the men of God by their appearances - by their physical stature, the car they drive, the shoes or clothes they wear, the size of their congregation etc. Such people end up losing out on the reward that is triggered by honouring the Grace upon the man of God. When you honour the Grace upon a prophet, impartation is released! Never look at how a mans Grace appears in the physical but in the spiritual.
Prophet also explained that whatever Grace is on your life has to be used for it to multiply. He gave instances in his life where he has seen the Grace of God multiply when he walked in his calling even more. This applies to all of us. The more you walk in your calling the more the Grace for it multiplies.
It's important that we honour this Grace because a prophetic word by Grace changes the way you run your race. You are always one instruction away from a breakthrough.
Grace helps us see and stops us from walking in confusion.
It is Gods intention to bless us but we hold up these blessings when we fail to honour the Grace upon the lives of the men of God.
The Grace of God in the lives of these men of God is what makes them the men God has called them to be.
Honour the Grace on the lives of the Man of God. As Prophet John rightly said:
MEN DO NOT MAKE GRACE. GRACE MAKES MEN
