At the end of last week’s blog, I asked us to shout out to God and say, ‘God change my DNA!’ How many of us did that? Did you open your mouth to ask God for His DNA?
At the last Bible Study with Prophet and Prophetess, they both taught on simple things we do that stop us from receiving from God. The Bible says that the power of life and death is in the tongue – Proverbs 18:21.
Do you know that one of the reasons why we don’t receive is because we don’t know when to and when not to open our mouths? We can’t discern when to open our mouths to speak things into being or when to shut our mouths to keep the enemy away from aborting prophecies spoken over our lives. I asked earlier if you opened your mouth to ask for Gods DNA. We miss it in the simple things, the simple acts of obedience, the simple declarations we could speak over our lives. Gods DNA in us will determine our actions and reactions. We will know when to speak and when to keep quiet!
Prophet explained that when there is a conflict between your soul and your mouth, the resultant effects are:
1. Delay
2. Doubt
3. You can’t receive even when it's right before you
4. Dreams are killed
The words we declare come from the depth of our hearts out through our mouths (note that your heart is located in your mind and not where your physical heart is located). Our hearts, (which is our mind) is the central processing unit (CPU). When a word is released it goes to your soul. Your mind/heart is controlled by your soul. Once this word hits your soul, your life begins to change. When your soul is wrongly fed, you react accordingly. Therefore, we should be very careful of what we feed our souls.
What are you feeding your soul? What words is your CPU processing? A weakling could hear the word of God that hits his soul and it changes him from a weakling to a lion!
It is God’s desire that we prosper. 3 John: 2 says, ‘Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth’ His desire is for us to prosper on the 3 levels that Prophet explained to us. God wants us to prosper:
1. Physically
2. Mentally
3. and in our Souls
We however need to prosper in our souls first. Our mouth then confesses what is in our soul and only then will it manifest. Mark 11:23-24 confirms our ability to speak things into manifestation.
Our mouth speaks into existence what we see spiritually. A lot of people may be physically prosperous, but their mind-sets are poor. This is not true prosperity. Matthew 6:33 - Seek you first the Kingdom of God (your soul), His righteousness (His heartbeat - your mind) and everything else will be added unto you (your physical needs) God does everything in threes and this passage reflects that.
Seek to prosper your soul first and then you will receive everything else you need.
Prophet also taught on the ingredients that show you are prosperous in your soul. I will touch on that in another blog. This is just a tip of the iceberg of what was taught on the evening. It would take quite a few blogs to cover all that was taught. But if you’re taking just one thing away from this blog today, let it be that you’re leaving with the knowledge that everything we see in life originates from the soul.
To receive from God your soul should be fed right. Your mouth should then speak into existence what you have been fed.
PROSPER YOUR SOUL AND YOUR LIFE WILL PROSPER!
Come and fellowship with us and enjoy Gods impartation through Prophet John Enumah.
